Registered Behavior Technician

Overview
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans within the home and community setting. Your primary goal will be to improve the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others.

Duties

  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress during sessions.
  • Assist in the development of behavior management strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure consistent care and support.
  • Provide support in home and community settings, as needed, to facilitate learning and social interactions.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a TB test within 3 days of being hired
  • CPR Certification required
  • Knowledge of behavioral health concepts, including behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to collect research data accurately for program evaluation purposes.
  • A background in special education or patient care is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
