Regulatory Compliance Specialist – Wireless Industry

100% Remote – Candidate must work EST or CST time zone hour

First shift hours only

Responsibilities

• Review proposed scope of work (modification, collocation, new easement) for regulatory compliance
• Apply knowledge of federal/state regulations and company policies to determine required assessments or filings
• Prepare & submit FCC and FAA filings (electronic regulatory filings, FAA Forms 7460-1 & -2, FCC Form 854)
• Order or complete necessary regulatory assessments (including NEPA review)
• Build and maintain relationships with FCC/FAA officials and other local, state, and federal offices for faster processing
• Operate company’s electronic tracking systems for tower construction/modification approvals (RNTP process)
• Research & respond to inquiries about site regulatory information
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation for compliance records
• Interpret and implement FAA, FCC, and NEPA guidelines
• Assist with acquisition due diligence and investigate alleged violations

RequirementsEducation / Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in regulatory compliance (preferably wireless industry)
• Experience in preparation/review of FAA Forms 7460-1 & -2, FCC Form 854, and state DOT applications
• Knowledge of NEPA review, environmental issues, height/lighting rules
• Experience with scope of work review, permitting, and regulatory documentation

• Strong knowledge of wireless communications industry

• Proficient in PC applications (MS Office, electronic filing systems)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.53 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
