Position Summary
The Report and Data Administrative Assistant will provide instrumental support to enable the success of our overall fundraising operations, data visualization, and reporting systems, and processes in support of the SDSU Alumni & Foundation. As a member of the team, the Report and Data Administrative Assistant will assist with data management and prepare materials.

Qualified individuals will possess the following:
Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and some lifting. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office and/or clerical equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Uphold SDSU Alumni & Foundation Standards
- Responsible for upholding the standards of the SDSU Alumni & Foundation especially pertaining to quality control and other elements that impact relationships with donors and use of data and information.
- Assist with creating, maintaining, and executing data query and export processes from the donor management system.
- Assist with maintaining and validating the data visualization systems.
- Support exporting reports for historical retention from data visualization systems.
- Aid in the documentation of processes and data structure information, including the Fabric data lakehouse solution.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet the organization’s needs.

- Proficient experience using the most recent versions of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (i.e. MSWord, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity or experience with data management is preferred.
