Research And Development Specialist

JOB DUTIES

• Develops new products as required by the company that will impact the company’s profitability.
• Records all trial results. (e.g., product/process proposal specifications; documentation of ingredients , formulation, etc.)
• Conducts physical and chemical analyses, microbiological testing, toxicological evaluations, and sensory evaluation of new and existing products.
• Evaluates existing product and processes and recommends improvements and new techniques for innovations based on the current trends.
• Supports and/or executes all or parts of exploration/conceptualization as well as the creative process to discover new and/or further develop existing technology with direct supervision by the R&D Supervisor. Must be aware of general areas of application of other technical disciplines.
• Works closely with Quality Assurance Team to ensure that correct process and parameters are being undertaken and fully implemented.
• Helps on the design and development of new product development, product & process improvement, cost optimization and product maintenance initiatives.
• Recommends processes and systems used within new product development programs.
• Prepares yield computation.
• Responsible for completing technical reports / presentations of various R&D activities to the direct superior.
• Prepares competitive monitoring report and make necessary conclusions and recommendations.
• Conducts regular New Product Presentations to the management and Panelists.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience in Production Development of Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical products as an R&D Specialist
• Must be aware and have knowledge on FDA, especially on regulations for cosmetics and pharmaceutical product

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
