Job Overview:
We are seeking a Residential Real Estate Secretary/Assistant. This role will be to work with a Real Estate Attorney handling residential closings. Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-3pm with intention of full time in the future.
Responsibilities
- Setting up new files using online legal software;
- Handle day to day tasks, including telephone calls, reviewing upcoming deadlines, coordinate calendar with clients for closings;
- Drafting/reviewing attorney review letters, contracts, title reports, deeds, preparing seller documents.
- Assist attorneys with document review, proofreading, transcription, and drafting of legal correspondence and contracts.
- Coordinate communication with clients, title companies and lenders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Support project management efforts by organizing schedules, tracking deadlines, and preparing reports for ongoing real estate cases.
Requirements
- Proven experience or legal administrative experience within a law office setting specializing in residential real estate or related fields.;
- Familiarity with legal case management software such as Clio; proficiency in document management systems and data entry;
- Experience with document review, contract preparation, and legal drafting techniques;
- Effective interviewing skills for gathering client information accurately; professional phone etiquette;
- Knowledge of real estate, estate planning , workers' compensation law, personal injury law is highly desirable
- Multilingual preferred

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
