Gracie's Bar is a bustling venue located in the heart of the SLIGO TOWN CENTRE.... Just underwent a massive new refurb, with a brand new kitchen only opened we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests on their arrival in a friendly and professional manner.

- Manage daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered

. - Lead and motivate the floor staff to maintain high standards of service and efficiency

- Oversee the training and development of new hires

. - Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.

- Draw in new custom and engage with potential customers.

- Take reservations and maintain reservation system.

- Control the flow of the bookings and table allocation

- Work in conjunction with Managers to ensure the smooth running of the establishment.

Required Skills and Qualifications: - At least 3 years of experience in a Pub/Restaurant management role. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Knowledge of restaurant operations. - Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must be welcoming and friendly with a can-do attitude along with strong attention to detail, have experience working in a team, have fluency in verbal and written English and have excellent levels of personal motivation and confidence.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sligo, County Sligo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality management: 3 years (preferred)
