Blackfish is seeking a highly capable and driven Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, uphold service excellence, and support business growth. This is a key leadership role best suited for someone with a hands-on management style, strong operational acumen, and a passion for guest experience.
About Blackfish
Blackfish is an elevated casual dining restaurant and craft cocktail bar located in Angeles City, Pampanga. With a seating capacity of 100, we combine progressive food and beverage with a thoughtful, service-forward approach. Since our establishment in 2018, we have expanded into our third and most ambitious location to date.
Our team is built on a strong culture of collaboration, discipline, and continuous improvement. We aim to set new standards in food and beverage service in the region, with a particular focus on leadership development, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager will oversee end-to-end restaurant operations, including staff leadership, service delivery, and financial performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff; foster a professional and positive culture.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including shift schedules, inventory control, capacity planning, and equipment upkeep.
- Guest Experience: Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service flow, resolving concerns, and refining service standards.
- Quality Control: Maintain and implement operating procedures that align with food, beverage, and cleanliness standards.
- Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, monitor food and labor costs, optimize expense allocations, and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
- Marketing Support: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and in-store activations to attract new customers and retain loyal patrons.
- Vendor & Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers and service providers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure product quality, and maintain a reliable and cost-efficient supply chain.
- Technology Integration: Leverage digital tools and platforms to optimize key operational processes—including reservations, inventory management, purchasing, and reporting.
- Event Coordination: Lead the operational side of private events, themed nights, and corporate functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team development skills
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills
- Working knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, and cost control
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
- Strong command of Google Documents and Google Sheets/Excel
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php26,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
