We are looking for a Restaurant manager for our busy INDIAN RESTAURANT.
The Role:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for running the day to day life of the Restaurant, from running service & ensuring all customers have an amazing time through to making sure the staff are happy and the restaurant is clean and presentable.
Duties may include but not limited to the following:
- Deliver excellent service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Managing restaurant operations independently
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Promote the brand on social media and through events
- Ensure an excellent level of customer service and drive a customer service culture across the restaurant
- Overall running and management of the business
- Plan menus for the business
- Manage stock level, ordering, and recording
- Make the staff rosters and handle all the correspondence with staff
- Make arrangements to hold functions as per the customer requirements
- Hire, train and coach staff and drive performance
- Handle all the financial and budgeting tasks for the business
- Ensuring that company policy standards are compiled to
- Ensure quality control
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Engage with the customers to get the feedback and consider improvements where appropriate
- Direct and motivate a team within a busy Restaurant
- Correspond with suppliers and negotiate best terms
A suitable Candidate should possess the following:
- Excellent level of presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work weekend and nights shift as per roster
- Free from Drug/Criminal history
- At least Two years of relevant experience including one year in a managerial role
- Physical fitness
- A relevant Qualification preferably
- Be able to manage a fast-paced fun work environment
- Excellence customer service skills. Attention to detail.
- A good understanding of food safety requirements.
- Strong organizational capabilities
Pay rate $27-34 in commensurate with qualification, experience and skills.
The position is for 30-40 hours a week and will report directly to the Management.
