Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: SM Megamall

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Japanese restaurant, with a strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, service standards, and dining culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage and train staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to Japanese culinary standards
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Control costs, manage budgets, and track financial performance
  • Maintain inventory levels, including specialty Japanese ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Uphold authentic Japanese dining etiquette and service practices
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu planning, seasonal offerings, and specials

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
  • Previous experience working in a Japanese restaurant is required
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and dining culture
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Financial management and budgeting experience
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in restaurant management
  • Experience in Japanese dining establishments (e.g., sushi bars, ramen shops, izakaya)
