Restaurant Server

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tables while maintaining attention to detail.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations, including sanitizing tables and kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on customer service roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and cash handling is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and coworkers alike.

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
