Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. This role requires a strong focus on hospitality, food safety, and efficient service, with opportunities to develop skills in fine dining and customer relations.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS or cashiering systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support host/host duties during busy periods to ensure smooth seating flow

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and payment processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is a plus but not required
• Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or guest services experience is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
