Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Implement effective POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team.
- Foster a positive work environment through team management and leadership.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices throughout the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.25-$18.00 per hour
