Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Implement effective POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team.
  • Foster a positive work environment through team management and leadership.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices throughout the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.25-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
