Restaurant Team Member – All-Rounder

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure all team members excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables and tasks during busy hours
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cash handling procedures
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
  • Assist with food handling, serving, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
  • Ensure cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Willing to do all types of work

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Food Handler Certificate (or willing to get one)

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the field
  • Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and food safety practices is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and upselling menu items
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen safety protocols is a plus
  • Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
