Shik Consulting Group is seeking an enthusiastic entry-level Retail Sales Assistant / Sales Associate to join our events team in Washington, DC. If you have a passion for customer service, sales, and working in a fast-paced retail environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing excellent customer service
• Promote and upsell products and services to maximize sales
• Provide accurate product knowledge and tailored recommendations
• Process transactions quickly and accurately at checkout
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and goals
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive store environment

Requirements

• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail setting
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques
• Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
• Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred (not required)
