Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that every customer has a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, asking questions to understand their needs, and offer tailored product recommendations.
• Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.
• Stay open to learning new skills, including natural pet health and nutrition.

Ideal Candidate:

• A pet lover who enjoys talking about products and their benefits to drive sales.
• Able to work with point-of-sale systems and handle customer transactions.
• Pride in maintaining an organized, welcoming store environment.
• Willing to learn and explore new ideas about natural pet health.
• Open availability for 24-30 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
• You have had retail experience with previous roles.
• You love having meaningful conversations with customers but also engage in active listening.

• Starting wage: $12.50/hour, with opportunities for growth based on performance quarterly. Commission bonus begins after 90 days (average part-time associate pay is $15.29 - $22.03/hour with commission).
