Retail Supervisor - Knitting & Crochet Department

Are you passionate about yarns, fibers, and all things wool? Do you have a flair for retail and leadership? We’re looking for a Retail Supervisor to lead the Knitting & Crochet Department in our vibrant arts and crafting supplies store in Cork City Centre.

What You’ll Do:

As the Retail Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure the wool department thrives. You’ll take the lead in boosting sales, creating an inspiring shopping experience, providing outstanding customer service and running the day-to-day operations — from stock management and displays to team supervision and helping customers find the perfect fiber for their next project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Growing sales and keeping the department buzzing
• Managing inventory, displays, and overall presentation
• Leading a small team and making sure shifts run smoothly
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• Planning fun and seasonal promotions

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in retail or a similar supervisory role
• A love of knitting and/or crochet would be an advantage but not essential.
• A willingness to learn about yarn, fibers, knitting/crochet
• A hands-on attitude and great problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities
• A creative eye for merchandising and product displays

Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
