Rigid Truck Driver

Description

We currently have a Full Time vacancy in our busy yard and stores for a candidate with experience in multi drop deliveries from our yard to multiple construction sites across Cork city and county (Immediate Start available). Driver 16 tonne Rigid Man truck with Hiab crane

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of standards of customer service and act in a professional manner at all times & build excellent customer relationships.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in a quick and efficient manner
• Check order & dockets prior to delivery
• Complete daily vehicle and load checks
• Ensure loads are secured pre-departure. Adherence to compliance with Health & Safety and Road Safety.
• Helping Load & unload goods.

Ideal Candidate

• Full clean Driving Licence.
• C Licence
• CPC in date
• HIAB crane licence
• Experience of driving forklifts is preferable but not essential
• Experience in a Construction company preferable but not essential
• Manual Handling certified preferable but not essential
• Must be a strong communicator and have excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €20.20 per hour

Additional pay:

• Over-time 7.00 to 16.30 Mon/Thurs - 7.00 to 15.00 Friday

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday- no weekends

Licence/Certification:

• C Driving licence (required)
