Rigid Truck Driver - Multidrop Deliveries

Diamant Linen is the leading provider of linen rental to hotels in Co. Kerry. We strive to provide "Excellence in Linen Management" to all customers.

We are currently hiring for a position in our busy laundry in Farranfore, Co. Kerry. This position entails a multi-drop/collection of linen for our customers in Co. Kerry. You'll be driving an 18-tonne truck (tail lift), with due care and adhering to traffic laws and tachograph regulations. Checking the truck before setting off and filling out daily digital checklist on Tranzaura.

The ideal candidate should have driven experience of a rigid vehicle.

Requirements:

- Valid full clean Cat. C driving license required.

- Digital Tachograph Card required.

- CPC up to date.

- Responsible for the general upkeep of the vehicle. Interior and exterior.

- Ensure that the tuck is loaded and discharged with due care for safety of everyone, including the public.

- Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed.

- Communication with management in terms of issues, reporting accidents and any other occasions where such contact is necessary.

- Building a strong relationship with our customers and upholding professionalism whilst on the road aligning with our company values.

- Manual handling certificate desirable (training will be provided if required).

- Over 25 years old for Insurance purposes.

- Previous multi-drop delivering experience required.

- Punctual. On time delivery and collection service.

- A team player with strong attention to details.

- Ability to work well with others.

- A flexible / can-do attitude.

- A flexible approach to working hours.

- Good level of English.

Rate per hour: Depends of Experience.
