The Fredericton Inn is hiring full time room attendants to work week days and weekends. Room attendants are tasked with tending to our guest rooms with great care, integrity, and attention to detail. The primary responsibility is to ensure the room is clean, tidy and inviting for guests. The successful candidate will thrive a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional and friendly demeanor. Weekends are a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning guest rooms.

Dusting the tables, drawers, TV, Lamp, Phone etc.

Vacuuming guest rooms.

Sweeping and mopping floors.

Changing linen on beds.

Cleaning & disinfecting bathroom tub, tiles, sink, shower, floor, etc.

Removing garbage and recyclables from guest room.

Follow emergency and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Must be available to work weekends and have open availability.

Reliable transportation.

Shifts are weekdays and weekends are a requirement.

Shift finish time is different according to the hotel occupancy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals.

Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.

Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels, instructions and basic guest interactions.

Criminal record check may be requested.
