Are you an experienced retail sales and digital marketing professional eager to oversee the seamless operation of a thriving home furniture business? Indigo Traders is opening a new store in Whangarei, and we are searching for a dynamic individual who excels in customer service, sales, and digital marketing who will be based in Whangarei – New Zealand.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing and sales, with a proven ability to drive successful campaigns across multiple platforms. This role requires expertise in e-commerce, B2B, lead generation, and branding strategies, along with excellent communication skills to foster strong engagement with customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to strengthen Indigo Traders' brand and drive sales.
• Oversee marketing campaigns for home furniture products and services across New Zealand.
• Manage SEO, social media, email campaigns, and marketing automation.
• Create and repurpose engaging content—blogs, emails, ads, videos—to enhance product visibility.
• Analyse campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for optimisation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure campaign effectiveness.

Retail & Store Operations

• Deliver exceptional in store customer service by assisting customers with their home furnishing needs.
• Follow up on inquiries, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure smooth stock management within the store.
• Oversee the visual presentation and cleanliness of the store to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Engage with customers and create a positive home furnishing experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in digital marketing, specialising in e-commerce, B2B, lead generation, and branding campaigns.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs and drive measurable results.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital tools.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and refining marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for seamless collaboration and client engagement.
• A creative and innovative approach to marketing, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
