Sales Assistant

Job description

• Welcome and greet customers
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Ascertain customers’ needs and interests
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedure
• Answering queries from customer over phone and social media
• Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
• Must be physically fit, heavy lifting required occasionally
• Must be previous sales experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.50 – $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Taupo Town District, Waikato: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
