Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. Fluency in lSpanish, is highly desirable to better serve our diverse clientele.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Provide detailed product information and demonstrate features where applicable
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
• Maintain attractive and well-organised merchandising displays
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Handle customer enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage stock levels, organise stockroom areas, and assist with inventory checks
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations
• Promote special offers, loyalty programmes, and upcoming events to enhance customer engagement

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with customers
• Organised with excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and sales techniques, including upselling strategies
• Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail
• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanour are essential for success in this role
