Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Driving Growth Through New and Returning Customers
Purple Panda is Ireland’s leading office supplies provider, offering an extensive range of products with industry-leading customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive business expansion by re-engaging dormant customers and acquiring new clients.
The Role
As an SDR, you will play a key role in growing revenue by reactivating past customers and generating new business opportunities. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and positioning Purple Panda as their go-to supplier. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive, results-driven mindset who enjoys building relationships and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Reactivating Dormant Accounts – Identify and reach out to past customers who have reduced or stopped ordering, understanding their reasons and reintroducing our value proposition.
- New Business Development – Proactively research, identify, and engage potential customers who would benefit from our products and services.
- Outbound Sales & Follow-Ups – Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to both lapsed and prospective customers.
- Understanding Customer Needs – Build rapport with clients, uncover their pain points, and offer tailored solutions from our extensive product range.
- CRM Management – Keep accurate records of interactions and pipeline progress in Zoho CRM, ensuring follow-ups are scheduled and insights are leveraged for success.
- Sales Target Achievement – Work towards achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
- Collaboration – Work closely with marketing and account management teams to refine messaging and improve customer retention strategies.
- Customer Feedback & Insights – Gather insights from past customers to understand trends and suggest improvements to sales strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience (ideally in B2B or a related industry) with a proven track record in customer acquisition or account reactivation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.
- Proactive & self-motivated, with a results-driven attitude.
- Resilience & persistence – Comfortable with outbound calls and follow-ups.
- Organisational skills – Ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
- Experience using Zoho CRM (or similar systems) is a plus.

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
