An exciting opportunity with direct influence on our commercial growth in the Italian market awaits you in our Sales team at our Italian office. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in developing partnerships and driving revenue as our new:

Full-time

Within our Sales team, you will play a key role in strengthening SPORTFIVE’s footprint in the Italian market, engaging with leading brands and rights-holders to build impactful sponsorship partnerships. Working closely with both local and international teams, you will drive new business opportunities and contribute to the agency’s commercial growth.

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

  • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with brands across the Italian market, identifying and converting new sponsorship and partnership opportunities

  • Lead sales negotiations and client meetings, understanding business objectives and securing revenue through tailored commercial solutions

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of SPORTFIVE’s portfolio, working to a structured sales plan to achieve budget targets and strategic growth objectives

  • Collaborate with internal teams to build customised proposals and presentations, leveraging consumer insights, media valuation, and proprietary sales tools to create compelling business cases

  • Negotiate commercial terms and support the full contracting process, ensuring effective deal closure

  • Monitor market dynamics and brand strategies, using macro and micro trends to identify prospects and inform strategic sales planning

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or account management within the sports or entertainment industry

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a comparable commercial role

  • Proven communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused mindset and the ability to build long-term partnerships

  • High level of initiative, resilience, and goal orientation, with a strong drive to deliver results

  • Team-oriented approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

  • Proficiency in CRM or sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce) and adherence to internal reporting standards

  • Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
