Sales & Marketing Administrator

The 4* Westport Plaza and Castlecourt Hotel Resort are looking for a sales and marketing administrator to join our sales team on a fixed term contract to help us achieve our goals. You will join a vibrant team and serve as a point of contact for customers while providing support for our sales and marketing and reservations team.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge and understanding of customer service best practices. If you have exceptional organisational skills and draw energy from being part of a team we would like to meet you.

Definition
To assist the sales & marketing team with promotions, sales, marketing, public relations and reservations.

To carry out administration work for the hotel.

Principal Duties

  • Dealing with enquires & bookings relating to Westport Hotel Group.
  • Contribute to high quality customer service.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Deal with overflow of reservation calls
  • Assisting on the administration side of Christmas Parties
  • Follow up on group enquires
  • Dealing with ad hoc administration work for other department heads where necessary
  • Update offline promotional material
  • To undergo any training where necessary within the marketing dept.
  • Attendance at workshops, trade shows and holiday fairs.
  • Analyse and monitor competitors on a local and national level.
  • Carry out continual research to understand the market size, market segmentation and its growth trends.
  • To project a positive and professional image of the hotel at all times

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in sales administration or sales support role.
  • Hands on experience with MS Office
  • Excellent organisational and multi tasking skills
  • A team player with high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Hotsoft experience preferred.
