Sales & Marketing Manager
Watersedge at Campbell’s Stores | The Rocks, Sydney
Watersedge at Campbell’s Stores is one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront event venues, set within a heritage-listed precinct overlooking Sydney Harbour. We deliver premium corporate events, weddings, and leisure experiences for some of Australia’s most recognised brands and clients.
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead revenue growth, drive strategic partnerships, and elevate our market presence across corporate and social events.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Sales & Marketing Manager will oversee the venue’s sales performance and marketing strategy, balancing commercial outcomes with brand integrity. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the events, hospitality, or venues industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Manage and mentor the sales team, fostering performance, accountability, and growth
- Drive new business development across corporate, incentive, wedding, and leisure markets
- Maintain and grow key client, agency, and industry partner relationships
- Oversee marketing initiatives including campaigns, digital presence, brand positioning, and collateral
- Collaborate closely with operations, events, and senior leadership to ensure seamless client delivery
- Analyse sales data, pipeline performance, and market trends to inform strategy
- Represent Watersedge at industry events, networking functions, and key trade shows
- Ensure brand consistency and premium positioning across all touchpoints
About You
- Proven experience in a senior sales or sales & marketing role within events, hospitality, or venues
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, strategic, and results-driven
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, premium environment
- Flexible to support business demands, including occasional evenings or events
- Overseas work experience is highly regarded, particularly within premium hospitality, events, or venues

Pay: $95,000.00 per year
