We are currently seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage and optimize staff scheduling for our nursing department. This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday hours and occasional weekend availability.

What You'll Do:

As the Scheduling Coordinator, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and adjusting the nursing department's schedule to meet resident needs and staffing requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain the 4-week Master Schedule for nursing staff

• Monitor and adjust schedules based on census, call-outs, and leave requests

• Ensure staffing levels comply with budget and care standards

• Coordinate PTO, sick leave, and vacation scheduling under the Director of Nursing's guidance

• Keep accurate records of attendance, schedules, and staffing patterns

• Support administrative duties as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 1–2+ years of scheduling experience (healthcare setting preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

• Ability to analyze staffing needs and problem-solve under pressure

• Team-oriented with leadership potential
