Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Parks Director, the maintenance worker performs daily maintenance and landscaping tasks at the City of Bountiful parks and open spaces.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsibilities include daily maintenance of the City parks and facilities.
• Mows, uses a string trimmer and other light power equipment, plants flowers, removes weeds, etc.
• Assist with irrigation, parks maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Employees will be trained in all necessary skills on the job
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Willing to work independently or in a small group
• Must be available for some weekend work on Saturdays

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old

Must have a valid Utah Driver's License

This is an entry level position, requiring no minimum amount of education or experience

Requires reliable transportation to and from the Parks Building

Successfully pass a background check, a driving record check, and a pre-employment drug test
