As a Security Officer, you will:

• Patrol premises and surrounding areas to prevent and detect security risks
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Manage entry and exit points, checking ID and issuing visitor passes
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a calm and professional manner
• De-escalate conflicts using communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Write accurate incident reports and maintain daily logs
• Provide a visible and approachable presence for staff, customers, and visitors
• Follow company procedures and comply with NZ legal and health & safety requirements
• Liaise with emergency services such as NZ Police, Fire and Emergency NZ, and ambulance services when required
• Identify hazards and support workplace health & safety practices
