● Monitor restricted areas, event spaces, and park operations while enforcing Halperin Park policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

● Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, disturbances, and medical situations, coordinating with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and park leadership when necessary.

● Support event operations through crowd management, access control, vendor oversight, and conducting pre-event and post-event safety walkthroughs with Operations and Events teams.

● Provide assistance to park visitors and event guests, including directions and general support.

● Identify and report safety hazards or concerns to appropriate staff to help maintain a safe environment.

● Document security activities by preparing accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.

● Participate in required training related to safety, de-escalation, and emergency response procedures.

● Assist with park opening and closing procedures and perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

● Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field preferred.

● Valid Texas security license (or ability to obtain one) preferred.

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

● Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.

● Demonstrated conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.

● Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to write clear and accurate reports.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
