Vardis Security is currently recruiting a professional Security Officer for a night shift role at a manufacturing facility in Co. Laois.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure site during night-time operations. This role includes regular patrols, access control, monitoring site activity, reporting incidents, and responding to any security or safety concerns in a professional manner.

Main Duties

• Carry out regular security patrols of the site
• Monitor access and egress
• Check doors, gates, and restricted areas
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Report any security, safety, or maintenance issues
• Respond to incidents in line with site procedures
• Liaise with site management when required
• Follow all company and client procedures

Requirements

• Valid PSA licence
• Previous security experience preferred
• Good written and spoken English
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Able to work night shifts
• Good communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative
