Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Hereford, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials of individuals entering the location as required by site policy.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or requests.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff in maintaining a secure and orderly environment within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
