We are seeking high energy hosts/hostesses to join our team and be ambassadors of our fine dining experience!

Looking for warm, professional, experienced, and highly energetic ambassadors to join the front-of-house teams at our acclaimed restaurants: Okeechobee Steakhouse, Lewis Steakhouse, and Lewis Prime Grill. If you thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and love creating memorable dining experiences, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview:

• Greets and escorts guests to their table.
• Manages reservations and coordinates efficient guest flow using modern reservation systems.
• Oversees seating and table rotation, communicating closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Maintains a warm and professional presence as the first point of contact for every guest.
• Provides clear communication and prompt updates to team members.
• Keeps the host stand and surrounding areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
• Works with team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Monitors guest satisfaction and alerts management to any concerns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required).
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a full-service or high-volume restaurant (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task while staying calm under pressure.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs., if assisting with supplies or setup.
• Comfortable with reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, Yelp).
• Comfortable with Waitlist Management tools.
• Ability to handle To-go Order Management.
• Prior experience with POS systems basics.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Proper phone etiquette required.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
