Weekend Demonstration Role

Schedule

• Weekend shifts are 6-hour durations, with flexible start times:
• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Work 3 consecutive weekends, then enjoy 1 weekend off

• Additional hours available:
• Monday & Wednesday evenings (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

About the Role

Do you love great food, enjoy talking with people, and take pride in representing a premium brand? As a Selling Event Coordinator, you’ll bring the Boar’s Head experience to life through engaging in-store demonstrations.

This is a fun, social, customer-facing role where you’ll offer samples, share product knowledge, and inspire customers to choose Boar’s Head premium delicatessen meats and cheeses. It’s an excellent opportunity for outgoing individuals—especially retirees or semi-retired candidates—who are looking for flexible weekend work that keeps them active and connected.

What You’ll Do

• Host engaging food demonstrations featuring Boar’s Head premium products
• Offer samples and confidently speak about flavor profiles, quality, nutrition, and pairing ideas
• Encourage purchases through friendly, knowledgeable conversation
• Create excitement around the deli department and enhance the overall shopping experience
• Set up, operate, and clean your demonstration station
• Operate a deli slicer to prepare products for samples and the Fresh Slice case (training provided)
• Slice and package Boar’s Head products for the Fresh Slice case as needed
• Work and organize backstock, ensuring proper rotation and product availability
• Assist customers at the deli counter when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Outgoing, friendly personality with a genuine love for food and people
• Available to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Comfortable engaging customers and answering questions
• Willingness to learn and operate a deli slicer (training provided)
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to transport demonstration materials (folding table and gray tote)
• Smartphone required for completing tasks and logging time
• Comfortable working in a deli environment
