Senior Business Controller (All Genders)

We are looking for a proactive, data-savvy Senior Business Controller (all genders) to join our Logistics Planning & Controlling department. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and controlling activities of our third-party logistics locations in Poland and Switzerland. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and actively seeks opportunities for improvement.
This role requires regular travel to Poland, specifically to our warehouse in Sulechów.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively support and advise the Third-Party Logistics team on business management issues and decision-making.

• Lead the operational planning and budgeting process for our third-party logistics locations, including relevant KPIs and activity-based costing.

• Design and develop standardized reporting, preparation of target/actual analyses including reporting to senior management.

• Oversee cost control and invoicing in collaboration with the Financial Control department.

• Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  
  

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in business control, financial analysis, or similar data-driven roles—ideally in logistics, shipping, or production environments.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP, SQL); skilled in handling large datasets and digital reporting.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights and communicate business narratives from complex data.

• Proactive and self-motivated, with excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in ambiguity, works in a structured manner, and continuously seeks process improvements.

• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
