We are looking for a passionate Senior Clinical Research Associate to join our team in Norway. This home-based role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in advancing new medicines, while working in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior CRA at Fortrea, you will:
Independently manage all aspects of site monitoring, from initiation to close-out, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
Verify patient safety and data integrity through regular site visits and remote monitoring.
Serve as the main point of contact for clinical sites, vendors, and internal teams.
Act as Lead Monitor or Local Project Coordinator for assigned projects.
Mentor and co-monitor with junior CRAs, supporting their growth and development.
Participate in the development of protocols, case report forms, and clinical trial reports.
Ensure sites are audit-ready at all times and maintain high-quality documentation.
Support feasibility assessments, EC submissions, and regulatory notifications as needed.
Required Qualifications
University degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of on-site monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of the clinical trial process, including SAE reporting and management.
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
Valid driver's license
