Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator/Project Manager with a strong background in carpentry and construction. This role involves leading project estimation, managing construction projects from inception to completion, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality work. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to complex projects while utilizing advanced construction management software and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed construction estimates by reviewing blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Develop accurate project budgets and timelines using software such as HeavyBid, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D.
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Lead project teams to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Utilize construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, tracking progress, and communication.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project workflows.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare reports on project status, costs, and potential risks for stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in construction estimating and project management to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the carpentry or general contracting industry.
  • Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; experience with Primavera P6, Civil 3D, ProCore, Bluebeam is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction management tools including Schematics and other relevant software platforms.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams and coordinating complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and vendors.

This role is integral to delivering successful construction projects through precise estimation and efficient project execution. We seek a dedicated professional committed to excellence in the field of construction management.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
