Senior Finance Business Partner

In this role, you will provide sector leadership with financial insight and decision support, lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end closing, analyse performance, identify key drivers, and recommend actions to improve results. You will also contribute to the wider finance agenda through collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sector’s financial performance, including its project portfolio

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing for the sector

• Participate in business reviews, drive the financial agenda, and support operational alignment

• Partner with business leaders to improve profitability and reduce capital employed

• Contribute to the development of systems, tools, and processes

• Act as a change leader within both the business and the finance function

• Deliver ad hoc analyses and support strategic planning

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen, including solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and performance drivers

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving

• Proven experience supporting strategic business initiatives

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and budgeting/forecasting tools

• Master’s degree or equivalent

• At least five, preferably more than ten, years of relevant experience
