Join us as a Senior Human Resources Executive / Assistant Human Resources Manager in Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn Express Katong! You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can:

  • Assist in day to day Human Resources Operations in terms of Employee relations, recruitment and selection, Compensation and benefit. Promote a positive team culture while ensuring our guests experience is unique and brings the brand to life.
  • Assist in the creation of and work within the established Human Resources department budget and control expenses.
  • Assist in monitor staffing to manage cost and expenses with comparison against budget and forecast
  • Monitor expenses to manage cost
  • Co-ordinate and maintain relations with schools as a Relationship manager
  • Educate and train managers on progressive discipline processes in accordance with hotel or company policies including progressive disciplinary process, performance management process, and related programmes to foster productivity, and enhance performance.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees.
  • Support Managers to ensure hotel or company hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed in a timely manner for recruiting and selection processes. Build relations with outside contacts.
  • Manage part-time and casual labour recruitment according to operational needs.
  • Create programmes to foster a positive work environment for all employees. Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey.
  • Work with department heads on employees’ probation reviews and confirmation.
  • Assist to drive welfare and recreation activities for the colleagues.
  • Handles the recruitment and selection process of business units which includes drafting and posting of job advertisements, sourcing, interviews, selection and offering.
  • Manages administrative functions such as preparation of employment letters, processing of work pass & other HR related correspondences.
  • Handles on-boarding and off-boarding including new hire orientation, exit interviews, termination & dismissal.
  • Administer medical, insurance claims and other related claims.
  • Support in monthly payroll processing.
  • Support in IR21 Submissions.
  • Assist in MOM Surveys Submissions.
  • Conduct Focus Group with Colleagues from other Departments.
  • Organise and facilitate HR and / or staff activities such as Townhall and Dinner & Dance.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 Years of related experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge in local labour laws
  • Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills
  • Highly meticulous with a strong attention to details
  • A hands-on person, able to multi task
