Join AXA Partners CLP in Malakoff, France, as a Senior Business Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between our IT and operational teams, ensuring that our systems solutions align with business objectives. What you’ll be doing:
- As a Senior Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with users, Technical Management, and stakeholders to determine system requirements, translating and prioritizing them for application enhancements.
- Negotiating project scope and timelines, ensuring alignment between operational needs and IT capabilities, while maintaining end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
- Developing detailed requirements and functional specifications that support user needs, while producing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Managing change requests through formal change control processes and assisting in the automation of business requirements.
- Supporting the implementation of new systems and resolving user issues to minimize disruptions in business activities.
- Facilitating application change planning and driving process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Coaching and mentoring team members and demonstrating leadership by introducing innovative ideas for requirements gathering and solution design.
- Building strong peer relationships across IT to support effective implementations and maintain a robust understanding of assigned systems and processes.
What you’ll bring:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years of experience in a business analyst role, with a broad understanding of business technology and applications.
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the insurance business model and its processes, along with foundational understanding across policies and business models.
- Project Management experience, or familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A results-oriented mindset with excellent time management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- (Desired) Salesforce Administration Certification, UX Design experience, and knowledge of agile methodologies.
