Java Software Engineer - Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java software development and an interest in low-code platforms like Mendix, we want you to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and applications.
• System Support: Investigate and resolve system issues, and support system enhancements and updates.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with project teams to oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Performance Optimisation: Troubleshoot and enhance system performance for seamless operations.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Java Expertise: A minimum of 3 years in Java and Java EE development, using frameworks such as Struts, JSF, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, or iBatis.
• Agile Experience: 1-2 years of Agile Development experience with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
• Web Development Proficiency: Strong skills in Java EE web application development and Java UI frameworks.
• Low-Code Platforms:
  Prior knowledge or experience with platforms like Mendix is a plus.
  Alternatively, a willingness to undergo training and certification in Mendix if required.

This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
