Overview of the role
Nutribio currently have two production sites, one in Tivoli and one in Little Island. The role will be primarily based at our Tivoli facility but the role will have overall responsibility for plants on both production sites. The Senior Maintenance Technician (MT) will ensure that all plant & machinery runs efficiently by carrying out general maintenance on machines, including cleaning, greasing, and servicing of the manufacturing equipment and where it goes down to fault find, fix where possible or call in maintenance support where needed. The MT will ensure and maintenance carried out meets with company Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and report any deviations to the relevant Production Supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities
· To keep the company’s manufacturing process running at all times, the maintenance technician must be available to ensure that the machines for production are in good condition
· Input to and carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines including carrying out general maintenance on machines, including cleaning, greasing, and servicing of the manufacturing equipment
· Support Production Team in achieving targets
· Closely monitor line and machine performance and intervene on line as soon as any deterioration in performance occurs
· Assist in selecting, engaging, and working with outside contractors
· Provide "On Call" support when required
· Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork and records
· Lead and implement process improvements to achieve more efficient operations
· Assist with the commissioning of new equipment / projects.
· Order and maintain appropriate stock of spare parts.
· Cross Train operators as required.
· Assists in ensuring that all plant, equipment and work areas are cleaned to the required standards
· Identify and maintain spare parts and tools, to ensure timely maintenance of plant & equipment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunction
· Become familiar with and take a lead role in maintaining plant electrical supply and distribution.
· Become familiar with and take a lead role in maintaining all site utilities.
· To keep clean any areas in which you are working, including any transit areas to and from the workshop, including the workshop and stores
· Develop and update the maintenance records system, including stores transactions made and work carried out
· Maintain an effective system for the availability, issue and control of spare parts for all equipment; order and maintain appropriate stock of spare parts
· Actively participate in various Capital, Lean, Environmental Health and Safety initiatives.
· Any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Craft Qualification in Mechanical Fitting
Key Skills and core competencies
· Minimum 5 Years’ experience in manufacturing industry or equivalent
· Excellent communication skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
· Must have excellent English including technical English
· Ability to work on own initiative & to a high standard.
· Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
· Knowledge of routine preventive maintenance of production equipment
· Experience of changeovers, machine fault finding and light engineering experience preferable
· Up-to-date Manual handling certification and Forklift Certificate is an advantage
