About the Role:
My client, a leading provider of engineered solutions in the construction and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead project delivery from design through to implementation. This is a key technical role working across teams and with clients to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project designs and technical solutions to meet client needs
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations and standards
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building regulations
• Conduct site visits, technical calculations, and produce detailed drawings
• Liaise with internal departments and clients to ensure on-time project delivery
• Provide technical support, training, and mentorship
• Support operations and ensure products meet design and production requirements
• Identify risks, opportunities, and implement continuous improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, including 5+ in a senior, client-facing role
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, building regulations, and quality systems
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Draftsight, Revit or BIM software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel
