Oil and Gas Facilities Project Manager

The Oil & Gas Facilities Project Manager – Field Services is responsible for managing industrial construction projects from start to finish ("cradle to grave"), ensuring they are completed:

• Safely
• On schedule
• Within budget
• To quality standards
• Profitably

The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is based in Odessa, TX or Carlsbad, NM.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of industrial construction projects.
• Lead project teams including superintendents, foremen, and support staff.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Track labor costs, project profitability, and financial reporting.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
• Negotiate and manage change orders.
• Oversee procurement and material deliveries.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
• Manage project closeout documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years managing industrial mechanical, piping, or structural construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Experience with:
• Industrial facilities
• Mechanical and piping construction
• Budgeting and cost control
• Contracts and subcontract management
• Scheduling
• Client relations
• Safety leadership
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with computers and construction-related software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
• Estimating experience.
• Knowledge of project documentation including:
• Contracts
• Purchase orders
• Drawings
• Submittals
• As-built documentation

Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
