Senior Registered Nurse

About the Role

You are an experienced and confident Registered Nurse. You may be working as a Clinical Leader or in a similar role in an age care setting.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will ensure that the highest standards of care are delivered across the facility and that clinical policy and procedures are adhered to.

This is a full-time permanent role.

About You:

• Be highly experienced in Clinical leadership roles
• Hold New Zealand Nursing Registration and current APC
• Along with the team, be responsible for clinical governance of your rest home
• Provide support and mentoring to the team

Key skills required:

• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical leadership role
• Confident in clinical skills and knowledge
• Dynamic and capable leader and manager
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

For this role:

• Experience within the NZ Aged Care industry in a clinical role is preferred but not essential.
• Preferably InterRai competent and responsibility for maintaining these in line with care plan reviews.
• Computer competent with computer-based technology and patient records.
• Empathy with our precious elders and a good sense of humor.
