We are seeking a number of highly-talented System Admins to join our Infrastructure team and be a part of our journey as we continue to innovate in the Quality Assurance and Customer Service industries.
Responsibilities
- System Management and Infrastructure
- Deploy, configure, and maintain IT systems in Linux (Debian preferred) and Windows environments, including Kubernetes (K8s) clusters
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS (Azure knowledge beneficial) Oversee database systems: MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL and MongoDB (NoSQL)
- Security and Monitoring
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including disaster recovery planning
- Monitor system performance, ensuring reliability through continuous assessment
- Utilise ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log management and analysis Implement TIGK stack (Telegraf, InfluxDB, Grafana, Kapacitor) for monitoring and alerting
- Automation and CI/CD
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform and Ansible Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Mentor junior and mid-level system administrators
- Collaborate with development squads and IT teams on infrastructure projects
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident management
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in system administration, with strong Linux (Debian preferred) expertise
- Proficiency in cloud services, particularly AWS
- Experience managing SQL (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Advanced scripting skills: Bash (essential), Python and PowerShell (advantageous)
- Expertise in Terraform and Ansible for automation
- Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and networking knowledge
- Experience with Git and related workflows in distributed teams
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Desirable Skills
- Windows experience
- Azure cloud knowledge
- ELK and TIGK stack experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
- Knowledge of PHP, Go, and Python
Education & Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science / related technical discipline OR equivalent experience
