TITLE: Server

PURPOSE: To be responsible for ensuring that our patrons are able to “Chill out and have a beer” and enjoy a fun environment while dining. Servers provide the best customer service possible to ensure our guests are educated on our beers and have an enjoyable dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Restaurant

o Provide superior food and beverage service

o Take and submit customer orders

o Check patron IDs for minimum drinking age requirements

o Answer questions about menu items or beers

o Resolve any patron issues quickly and professionally

o Itemize bills and collect payments

o Clean, prep and bus tables, bar, counters

o Maintain clean and organized service stations

o Keep condiments and utensils replenished

o Clean bathrooms and sweep/mop floors as needed

o Stock service supplies

Safety

o Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated persons

o Attend all required Safety training

o Exceed safety standards during daily operations

REQUIREMENTS:

· Servers must be age 21 or over

· Prior restaurant and/or retail experience required

· High School Diploma or equivalent; will accept relevant work experience in place of education

· Ability to work well in a team environment and independently

· Obsessive attention to detail and record keeping

· Focus on customer satisfaction

· Innovative, ambitious, driven yet caring and dedicated

· Work is primarily performed in the restaurant facility. This job operates a touch screen computer, cash register, and a variety of kitchen/office appliances. The restaurant is housed within the production brewery so the employee may be exposed to temperature changes, wet or humid conditions, noise, vibrations, and other brew production related hazards when in the brew production and storage areas.

· Limited travel to post office or other suppliers may be requested

· Will require frequent nights, weekends and holidays
