Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for billing, cashiering, and upselling purposes
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food industry standards including serving, food preparation, and guest services
• Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
