Server (Part Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an outstanding dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
• Accurately input orders into the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS) and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and respond promptly to requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines during service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not mandatory.
